A family break in Paris

It's time to book your family break at the Hotel Auteuil Tour Eiffel. Paris boasts a wealth of traditional or unusual ways for families to share exceptional experiences without anyone having to feel left out. Here are the ones we can certainly recommend...
Learning while having fun
To learn while having fun; that’s the key. Attractions capable of providing a smooth blend of pleasure and education are rare, but Paris has more than its fair share. We can recommend two places that achieve such a family holiday miracle. The first is the Musée en Herbe. This art museum is specifically designed for children and offers hands-on workshops among other child-friendly activities, but there’s plenty to appeal to adults, too. If your young ones are passionate about dinosaurs and the other big beasts of prehistory, then head to the magnificent Grand Gallery of Evolution of the National Museum of Natural History, which has just reopened following renovations. This is located in the Jardin des Plantes, so you can double the fun with a visit to this superb botanical garden’s very own zoo.
Enjoy
You might then decide it’s time for some laughter, fresh air and exercise! For the first, why not take the children to the Musée Grévin? The astonishingly lifelike figures in this amazing wax museum include singers, footballers, movie stars and other famous faces, providing plenty of opportunities for some great selfies. If the weather is pleasant, you can take a carousel ride on the Champs-de-Mars or ascend the Eiffel Tower and enjoy the magnificent panorama of the city at your feet. Or you might want to head to the verdant splendour of the Bois de Boulogne for a ball game or a walk amidst the beauty of nature. Nearby is the Jardin d'Acclimatation amusement and leisure park and its brand-new attractions!
Scares, thrills and surprises
Paris is full of surprises. Want to give the family some delicious shivers? Take them down into the creepy surroundings of the Paris Catacombs to celebrate Halloween. Or embark on a fascinating tour of the city’s sewers. Young and old alike will be fascinated by the maze of tunnels that wind beneath the capital and the many stories and legends associated with them. Finally, for some fresh air after your descent into the depths, go to the Parc André-Citroën, where a tethered balloon awaits to take you 150 metres into the Parisian sky. The view is stunning and the experience breathtaking.
After a fun-filled but tiring day with your children, you’ll be delighted to return to the comfort of a Junior Suite or Deluxe Room, your ideal family accommodation at the Hotel Auteuil Tour Eiffel. You can relax in our wellness area or head to the bar to choose from the many attractions and activities Paris offers and plan another great day...
